Who Are We, Anyway?

After 26 years commandeering naval vessels (and surviving every seasickness test known to man), I traded in my uniform for a trusty canoe and a crusty old bandana. One sunny afternoon, while grilling chicken on the banks of Econfina Creek, it hit me: if I’m having this much fun splashing around the creek, there must be thousands of fellow creek-crawlers, pond-paddlers, and lake-loungers ready to join the party. And so, Creek Pirate was born!
